Boni Bates, founder of Garden State Ghost Hunters in New Jersey has built a reputation in the paranormal community for her honest and educated approach to paranormal research. The following is an excerpt from writer Rosemary Ellen Gulley's book, "Ghosthunting Pennsylvania."
"...Garden State Ghost Hunter Society (GSGHS), founded by Boni Bates, collected interesting data on two investigations. They sought to establish communication with one of the ghost with a K2 meter, which measures fluctuations in electromagnetic energy. The fluctuations register in flashing lights. Many investigators believe that spirits can communicate by causing the lights to flash.
The team established communication with a female entity who said she thought the time period was the 1790s. When asked to make a banging sound, she complied..."
